This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how Company Mawjat Afkar LLC, a company registered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. ("Octopus", "Mawjat Afkar", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects the personal data of customers ("Customer", "you") who use the Octopus mobile application and website (the "Platform") to book home cleaning and domestic staffing services within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
This Policy is issued in accordance with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), issued by Royal Decree No. M/19/1443H, and its Implementing Regulations, as may be amended from time to time. By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.
This Policy should be read together with our Terms and Conditions. In the event of any conflict between the two specifically regarding the handling of personal data, this Policy shall prevail.

Where any of our technology service providers process or store data outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, we ensure that such transfers comply with the requirements of the PDPL and its Implementing Regulations, including verifying that the destination country provides an adequate level of protection, or by putting in place appropriate contractual safeguards, as required.
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, including to maintain your account, provide the Services, comply with applicable tax and legal record-keeping obligations, and resolve disputes. Where you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required to comply with a legal obligation or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

No system can guarantee absolute security, and we encourage you to keep your account credentials confidential.
The Platform is intended for use by individuals who are at least 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete that data.
Our Platform may use cookies, SDKs, and similar technologies to remember your preferences, maintain your session, and understand how the Platform is used, so that we can improve its performance. You may control cookie preferences through your device or browser settings, though disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Platform.
